Aside from the eBook I received as being littered with misspellings , I can state for the review that the book held my interest. With a plot that can be anticipated based on the title of the book, it did draw you in from fairly early in the story and piqued your curiosity. As such, I ended up reading this book in two sittings.
It was somewhat far-fetched ( plot , storyline ) in terms of the kinds of activities that occurred , as most or all of what the protagonist embarked upon would never happen in reality , especially in Thailand. But then , that is the purpose of fictional media , I suppose. To entertain , not to limit the boundaries of imagination and to provide escape for the consumer.
The style was a bit dumbed-down , but I found there to be some unique phrasing and its unusual use of the English language , here and there. Some of the words and expressions I looked up online, as I was checking for accuracy , as they are not commonly used. It ended up passing the test on all of my verifications.
I can recommend this book , as it is a light read and would be ideal for passing time on the airplane , particularly for those en route to the Land of Smiles. I may look into some of the author's other offerings.

A Farang Strikes Back edition by Louis Anschel Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This book is extremely similar to Stephen Leather's "Private Dancer", albeit a pale copy of it. The plot is very predictable. The characters and events are so "cliché" and lacking nuances that they are simply not credible. It is not particularly well written neither. The final twist is soooo predictable as well. There are better fictions on this topic. I am even tempted to reduce the score to one star only.
This story tells it like it is for Farangs who go to Thailand hoping to fit in and change the Thai culture or their norms. I personally Love Thailand and the Thai people but don't make the mistake of thinking you can change anything. Their strongest ties are to themselves.
