I love the structure of this book - the 30 day schedule is great for folks like me who occasionally start projects / courses but never quite finish them. Having a defined goal - something to accomplish during every day - really makes it easier. At the very beginning, you are told that this book is designed to be completed in 90 days or less - I LOVE that! Too often it seems that self-help books outline a process that can take months or years to accomplish. While it does not play to the "instant gratification" mindset, the journey DOES have an endpoint - a place at which you can check your progress and see what you've accomplished. I also appreciate the "Momentum Work" - designed to help keep you moving forward and make the strategies you're learning part of your life moving forward. I particularly loved the chapter on Taking Charge and Personal Responsibility - as a coach and consultant, this is one of the key principles I try to teach my clients. This is a great book. Easy to read, easy to follow and you can accomplish a lot in the time frame of 90 days or less. This works well for me as I am not a veracious reader so easy to read and follow works well for me!! The companion workbook is a great tool to use effectively to help get results. I find the book is a great pick me up at times when I'm working on different things and can be helpful in many areas of my life! an extremely useful tool I'd recommend!
I think this book is a must have for everyone! I really appreciate how Michelle Richardson breaks it down into 7 Simple Strategies to thrive in life. The workbook companion is great too - it is an ideal tool to continue to grow into thriving strategies.
Recommended by a friend, I purchased this book at a time when life appeared to be passing by too quickly and without my noticing. The book helped reinforce what I knew, at least on subconscious level, were key ingredients to a sense of fulfillment. I also learned a few new strategies to "thrive"! Great book. I recommend it for anyone.
